On popular demand, we finally have Hunger for sale here at bleed.no. Our latest look-book with 200 pages of 8 bleed designers different intepretation of the concept Hunger.

Since the launch earlier this year at magical Flø and later in Bergen, we were amazed and humbled by mails from all over the world wanting to know where to buy the book.

And now we have a good answer; HERE! The book is limited to only 500 copies.

We also hope to update the shop with some further items soon. We will keep you posted:)

After our conceptual rebranding of the FRI Antismoking program for the elementary school in 2007, the program has turned so successful amongst the students and teachers that the planned revision this year proved not necessary. We were instead asked to make some additional graphic artwork for new posters and postcards to be printed as supplements to the program.

Go With The Flø is a unique international festival that took place in June on the island Flø located in Norway.

The exhibition and live music is a cooperation between Hugo Opdal, Paul Stolper, Moods of Norway and Apparatjik. Artists participating was Damien Hirst, Gavin Turk, Peter Blake, Susie Hamilton, John Dove/Molly White, Keith Coventry and Apparatjik.

Apparatjik is a music collective formed by Magne Furuholmen (A-ha), Guy Berryman (Coldplay), Jonas Bjerre (MeW) og Martin Terefe. They released their album We Are Here on iTunes 15. of June.

Bleed designed the posters for all the artist and partied.

Our Hunger exhibition continues to Bergen, Norway. It will take place at Tillsammans, at Kong Oscars gate 26. Vernissage starts on Saturday 19/6 at 15.00. See you there!

The underdog of the Norwegian dairy industry has finally succeeded at entering the yoghurt market. Having failed at four previous attempts, Bleed was brought in to consult on packaging and design. The result is Q-Skyr, which has secured Q-Meieriene a 14% market share of a lucrative business valued at NOK1,4 billion.

A recent article in the financial newspaper quotes the company´s CEO:  “After four failed attempts, Q-Meieriene has finally had a break-through of the yoghurt segment (…) It´s key to have packaging which stands out. With Skyr we have specifically targeted women, and you can see that the design is unique.” (CEO, Q-Meieriene, Bent Myrdahl Finansavisen 3rd June 2010)

There’s nothing like excessive exaggeration to push a product, like the latest ad for Norway’s Alta Bike demonstrates so well. It’s not the type of in your face advertising that demonstrates dicing, slicing, grating and peeling all with a free set of steak knives, its smarter and more aesthetically interesting than that. The Alta Bike is a unique bicycle created by a combination of graphic Bleed, furniture Norway Says and product designers Frost produkt from Norway. – theCoolhunter.net

Having worked on it since September we´re happy to see the launch of the new IHUS identity. As the estate agents roll out their revamped branding, we´ll keep posting more of the work  - watch this space!

Bleed.no was awarded silver at Visuelt 2010 and bronze in the European Design Awards. We also got an nomination for the National Theater identity and our own redesign!

All in all a good year, with 5 different awards, but miles away from our record last year with 16 awards national and international. We are happy:)

For one of our favorite clients The  National Theater in Oslo, Bleed made the visuals for The Ibsen Festival 2010. Collaborating with our good friend and photographer Knut Bry, making illustrations capturing Ibsen´s capacity for drama and humor. Everybody loves a jumping guy!

We have been invited to speak at the annual European Design Awards Festival in Rotterdam. See you there on Saturday 29. May! Maybe we will win something as well:)
